Our origin story
In late 2023, David tried to buy an air quality monitor for his bedroom. He was so dissatisfied with existing devices that he decided to build his own. After all, how hard could that possibly be? His two main requirements were high accuracy and long battery life.
The task turned out to be much more difficult than expected. To get access to the best sensors, NDAs had to be signed; for that, a company was needed. So David started one with Ondra Hrubý, and without even knowing it, we were in the air quality business.
The company, 0x2A, is focused on bringing innovative electronics to life. Our first product, Airgeek A1, is the realization of David's original desire for a high-quality personal air quality monitor. We also make the M1, a module targeting OEMs, DIYers, and makers of all kinds.
